This years summer event was held on June 26th at Montavilla Park in SE Portland.About 70 children & adults came and went throughout the day and all seemed to have a great time. There were many "bug" related activities for the little ones but the highlight had to be Rosie the snake. We marveled at those brave enough to cuddle up with Rosie and with the exception of one mishap (she went potty on a lap) she was very well behaved. We raffled off a variety of prizes including gift cards to REI, Olive Garden, Regal Theaters, Blockbuster, Chevron and more. Face painting was back by popular demand and swimming was available, courtesy of CNS. All in all...an enjoyable day!
