While the bi-yearly in-service is meant to keep CNS in compliance with the expectation of our Home Health license, we also see it as a time to reconnect with our amazing nursing staff. The first few moments of our spring in-service were spent socializing while enjoying a plentiful meal prepared by Sharon. Patti and Evelyn presented information about the primary nurse role and clinical documentation updates while Barb gave us a glimpse of the CNS disaster preparedness plan and what to expect when, or more likely if, disaster strikes. Jan and Evelyn provided entertainment with a rendition of Survivor, OSHA style. All in all…it was an informative gathering and time well spent.
