The fall in-service was in late October and took on a Halloween spirit of it's own. Eyeball gumballs were used as markers for S-A-F-E Bingo and trick-or-treat goodies awarded as prizes. Barb explained in detail the selection process for the "100 Best Non-profits" award we received in late September and also touched on Disaster Preparedness. Evelyn addressed documentation issues and unveiled a new Medication Record and changes to the Nursing Progress Record. Patti spoke about the Quality Assurance Program and how the indicators assist us in identifying our strengths and weaknesses. Guest speaker Maria G. gave us some hands-on instruction and insight into sign language for children. Another successful in-service in the books!
